The new special exhibition Marias and Mörkös – Police Vehicles On and Off the Road, opens for the general public on 26 April 2024. Due to finishing work required for the exhibition, the museum is closed on 22–25 April.
The Police Museum’s next special exhibition, “Marias and Mörkös – Police Vehicles On and Off the Road”, will take over the temporary exhibition space during this spring. Several old police cars have already been brought in, and various structures are ready and waiting for the police motorcycles and a police scooter that will be placed on display.
“The new exhibition is not visible for museum visitors, except in that entry to the temporary exhibition space is closed for the public with temporary partitions. Our permanent exhibition, The Police is Here! and the children’s section are open,” says Curator Maritta Jokiniemi.
“During the opening week of the new exhibition, the Police Museum is closed from Monday to Thursday, 22 to 25 April, so that we can put the finishing touches to the space safely. We wish everyone welcome to explore the new exhibition from Friday, 26 April onwards!
