The Police Museum open longer than normal during summer season
The Police Museum will have longer opening hours on the weekdays during the summer season. From 1 June to 6 August, the Museum will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from noon to 5 pm.
The Police Museum may host up to 30 visitors at a time until further notice. To make your museum visit as fluent as possible, please book in advance. The Police Museum’s lobby service handles all bookings. Make your reservation by telephone: +358 295 418 325 during the Museum’s opening hours, from Tuesday to Saturday. Unfortunately we cannot accept reservations made by email or through social media channels.
The maximum visiting time is two (2) hours. Visitors arriving without an advance reservation may have to queue for their turn and it may not be possible to visit the Museum on the same day.
We recommend that all museum visitors aged 12 or over wear a face mask on our premises. Please ensure good hand hygiene and follow the guidelines for social distancing, and visit us only when you are not sick.
The Police Museum is a museum for the entire family, located in the Hervanta district of Tampere within the premises of the Police University College. The museum presents the history and operations of the Finnish police from the Middle Ages to today. Entrance is free.
