While our facilities are closed, you can take a virtual tour of the Police Museum and see our virtual exhibitions.
You can take a virtual tour on your own computer or smartphone. On the virtual tour, you can look into various exhibition rooms and view interesting videos and exhibits that shed light on the history of the police.
At present, the museum offers three online exhibitions. The most recent exhibition, “Crime and Love”, launched in autumn 2021, highlights the changes in the attitudes of the police towards sexual minorities over time. The online exhibition “The police of independent Finland” describes the development of police work and professional skills during Finland’s national independence. The online exhibition “From Breeches to Coveralls” presents the history of Finnish police uniforms.
