To accommodate its visitors' requests, the Police Museum will keep its doors open for longer hours in the summer season. From 6 June to 11 August, the Museum will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from noon to 5 pm.

“The number of visitors to the Museum is on the increase, and it is popular among tourists particularly in the summer season. By extending our opening hours we wish to enable as many people as possible to visit the Museum this summer,” says Curator Maritta Jokiniemi .

“We kindly request that groups would let us know about their visits in advance, particularly if it is a children's group, because this way we could even out our peak hours. In this case, there would also be more room to play in our children's section Pokela.

The Police Museum is a museum for the entire family, located in the Hervanta district of Tampere within the premises of the Police University College. Entrance is free. The exhibition texts at the Police Museum are in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
